After all the hectic activities over the past two days, which left little time to do many posed photographs, we all headed out to relax, take a swim and do a trash the dress shoot! We headed south of Playa del Carmen to the Yucatan's famed cenotes to take a refreshing dip (truth be told, the water was a tad chilly) and take some underwater shots in it's crystal clear waters. I had been really excited about visiting the cenotes and they did not disappoint ... they were absolutely stunning! From there we headed to the beach to finish up the session. It was a lovely way to spend more time getting to know Neha and Tunde and to wrap up a spectacular destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico! Thank you both so much for the experience ... it was true privilege!!!

Angeles and Cesar were the winners of our "Wedding Photography Giveaway" this year and it couldn't have gone to a nicer, more deserving couple! Though Angeles now lives in Phoenix, she is a Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico, native and she really wanted to get married in her hometown surrounded by all her family and friends. Ceasar just wanted to give his bride-to-be everything she wanted for her wedding day. The choice of being married in Mexico was easier on her friends and family financially, but left the couple strained financially themselves. We know what it is like to struggle financially and were so happy to be able to help. The couple's family and friends did not disappoint, and on May 14th, 2011, it seemed all of Rocky Point came together to give Angeles and Cesar the wedding of their dreams!! Thank you both for having us as you wedding photographers ... it was a true joy!

The Garbe family holds a place very dear to our hearts! We first met them in 2007 when we photographed Amanda's sister, Paige's, wedding. Since then we have become very close with them, photographing children, first birthdays, family reunions and so on. We have had the privilege to watch this large and very close family as it grows and on May 7th we got to witness and photograph the wedding of their youngest daughter, Amanda, as she married the love of her life, Trent! The wedding was held at the Garbe family home and everything was just beautiful. Some aspects of the wedding were traditional ... and some definitely were not. Amanda and Trent made this wedding unique and their own and that's what I love about them :-)! Congratulations to you both!! Love you guys!!!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.....Tina (Kevin we missed you alot!!!) you did an amazing job!!! of course you always do! trying to decide what next event we do so we can have you back! We Love you both! Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!

Brooke and Ryan were married April 30th, 2011 at Arcosanti in Mayer, Arizona. This was a unique wedding to say the least!! Arcosanti was placed under construction in 1970 as an experimental town meant to demonstrate ways of improving urban conditions while lessening our impact on the environment. It is still up and running today and continues its strides in teaching us how to handle our effect on the Earth. Brooke and Ryan's wedding was only the 4th or 5th to be held there in the community's long history, so indeed, it was a real treat to be a part of it! Thank you both for having us :-)!

Suzanna and Kelly are such a sweet couple and we loved them from the moment we met them at their engagement session! They were married April 23rd in an intimate ceremony at the beautiful Briar Patch Inn in Sedona in front of their closest family and friends. The one thing I noticed all day was how happy Suzanna was all day long ... she simply glowed :-)! Thank you both so much for having us as your wedding photographers. It was a joy to be a part of it!!

Seriously. Talk about being happy... She looks ecstatic in every picture! I love that!!! I love the sassiness she has in her family portrait/formal and I love love LOVE the intimate setting of the chairs around the ceremony. Fantastic! Such beautiful pictures, once again. Congrats to Suzanna and Kelly, Sorry I couldn't be there.

Being that I wanted to comment on EVERY SINGLE PICTURE, I figured it made the most sense to wait until the very end of the postings. :) Ummm... WOW! Tina, We are amazing! lol. I had the most INCREDIBLE time...incredible being a complete and total understatement!!! Not only was this a beautiful wedding in every way a wedding can be beautiful--Beautiful people, Beautiful decorations, Beautiful customs--It was THE MOST humbling experience of LOVE I have ever encountered. With so much negativity and hate in the world, your families were brought together as one by nothing more than, as your mother gorgeously stated, "Just love." No hindrances of race or religion were in sight, and that is so beautiful. Thus, making it so much more than just a wedding for me, but a life experience I could have never received any where else, at any other time in my life. I was where I was supposed to be (by default, thanks to Kevin -sorry Kevin, but you are appreciated :)).
(06.27.11 @ 07:25 PM)I want to thank Neha, Tunde, and ALL of their beautiful family members, for giving Tina and I the opportunity to photograph this truly one-of-a-kind wedding! Neha & Tunde, You are an inspiration of love and I feel so blessed to have met you. To Kevin, thank you for having prior arrangements that allowed me to take your place in Cancun (hahaha-you were missed). And to Tina (and Kevin), thank you for trusting my "eye" and for giving me the guidance, strength and support to continue to grow. I am still utterly grateful to be a part of the Sierra Blanco team/family and LOVE YOU BOTH to pieces! Here's to Neha, Tunde, their wedding, their pictures :), and to the future. SALUD!!
Tina and Kevin - these images are breathtaking. I have never seen anything like this and am in awe! I am so honored to have had you photograph our wedding and hope to have a trash the dress session one day too! -Jessica (White) Taylor
