Last December we traveled to Florida to photograph my wonderful friend, Aubrey, for her maternity session. Though it has been a while since the shoot, we wanted to post some photos from the shoot. We headed to St. Augustine, Florida, to do the shoot. As I mentioned already, it was December, and though Florida is not known for its cold weather at any time of the year, it was shockingly cold this particular week. Night time lows hovered close to the teens and the days weren't much warmer. On top of that, it had rained quite a bit, so it was damp, thus making the temps feel even worse. Despite that, Aubrey and her husband Phillip endured brutal conditions in very little clothing for the sake of "good" photography :-)! They now have a beautiful daughter named Scarlett. I love you both and can't wait to meet the newest member of the Jarvis / Reel family!!

Brittany is little sister to my close friend, Aubrey, and part of the Jarvis Family, all of whom I have become so close with over the past many years. I have been fortunate to document all the Jarvis sister's weddings to date and now I am documenting their families, as I can when I get back to Florida, as they grow. Though this shoot was a while back, I wanted to post some photos from Brittany's maternity shoot - of course her husband, Stephen, was in tow :-). They now have a beautiful baby girl named Avenue! Love you Bee and Stephen!!

Heather and Tim had an intimate ceremony with their two daughters as witnesses and it was beautiful. We love weddings like this ... the couple really gets to spend quality time with the people they love the most in a spectacular setting, pledging their love for one another. It is just so moving. The ceremony took place at the Grand Canyon at Shoshone Point. In our opinion there is no more lovely a spot at the South Rim than Shoshone Point! The wedding was held the first week in June and it was a bit blustery and cold ... it can still get cold at the South Rim, even at that time of the year. Everyone held together wonderfully though and endured being a bit uncomfortable to get some amazing photographs and to have a sunset ceremony ... the light was SPECTACULAR for it ... WOW!!! We also have to commend Tim, who is a little scared of heights, for going to some uncomfortable places in the name of good photography ... thank you so much :-)!! Enjoy the sneak peak ... you were all wonderful to work with!

The day after Theresa and Chris' wedding, we headed into Napa Valley for their trash the dress shoot to take advantage of the beautiful vineyards and stately oak trees. We got some beautiful images and had a great time producing them ... gotta love it when the bride and groom aren't afraid to climb trees :-)! Thank you both again for having us as your wedding photographers and for the wonderful experience!
