PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS - WPJA 2011 QUARTER 3 CONTEST

We are always humbled to place in the WPJA's quarterly competitions.  To win three awards is very humbling.  Two of the images were created at Senait and Ilya's amazing wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and the other was taken at Elizabeth and Daniel's equally amazing wedding at the Vatican in Rome, Italy.  A big thanks to both these couples for trusting us as their wedding photographers!

PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS - WPJA 2011 QUARTER 2 CONTEST

It is always an honor to place in the WPJA quarterly competitions as I am competing against some of the best wedding photographers in the world!  This time though it was humbling for me.  I garnered my very first 1st PLACE AWARD this time and was so elated!!  The winning image placed 1st in the SILHOUETTES AND SHADOWS category and was taken at Brooke and Ryan's wedding this past April at Arcosanti in Arizona.  I also won 14th PLACE in the same category for an image I took at Theresa and Chris's wedding at V. Sattui Winery in Napa, CA back in May of this year.

PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS - ISPWP SUMMER 2011 CONTEST

I am always honored to place in the ISPWP competitions!  I placed 9th in the EMOTIONAL IMPACT Category in the ISPWP Summer 2011 Contest with a beautiful moment captured at Neha and Tunde's wedding of Tunde and his brother emotionally hugging after a toast.

PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS - ISPWP SPRING 2011 CONTEST

I was recently accepted for membership into the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP.)  It is an honor to be a part of an organization of professional photographers who are all so immensely talented.  In that light, it is as much an honor to have placed in their most current competition.  Three of my photographs placed in the ISPWP Spring 2011 Contest and I am thrilled!!

PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD - WPJA QUARTER 4 CONTEST 2010

I am once again honored to win awards in the prestigious Wedding Photojournalist Association's (WPJA) quartly contest.  I was really excited this time because three of my photographs placed, all in the top 5!!  I won 3rd place in "Humor" for a photo taken at Angela and Chris' wedding and 4th place in "Cake Cutting" and 5th place in "Kids (Being Kids)", both from Megan and Jeff's wedding.  There were 24,112 entries from around the world in this quarter and from that, 360 finalists were chosen.  That really is an honor.  As always, thank you to my couples for trusting in my vision and allowing me to make these award winning images :-)!
