This was by far one of the coolest weddings we have ever had the good fortune to photograph!!! There were even props (I finally found a bride who voluntarily, and of her own accord, posed with a tumbleweed) and a really cool ring bearer with a personality of his own! Enough said ... this one speaks for itself!

Kristy and Paul were married on June 6th at Tlaquepaque in Sedona. Their ceremony was held at the chapel and the reception took place at the Secret Garden Cafe, both in Tlaquepaque. Maria Grace, www.twoheartsonelifeweddings.com , was the officiant and we always love working with her!
Paul is an F-16 pilot and his job will soon take the newlyweds away from Arizona to new horizons in the Sunshine State of Florida. With them will be their new addition ... that's right, they are expecting their first baby - though you would never know it from the way Kristy looked in her beautiful sheath gown - amazing :-)!!!
Kristy and Paul, thank you both so much! You were a pleasure to work with and your families and friends were wonderful as well! Can't wait for the next shoot ... either a maternity shoot or a baby shoot :-). Enjoy and congratulations!

I love Kristy's expression ... priceless :-)!

This is soooo cute!!

I love this ring shot :-).

Wonderful photos. Again! And another sweet and beautiful couple. Aren't we lucky to work in this business?
If I get married again to my husband on a bigger scale (we renew our vows every year), I'd like to have you do our photos...
Amanda and Tony were married at Los Abrigados in Sedona on May 2nd. The weather reports were not real promising, calling for rain most of the day, but luckily they got it wrong and it couldn't have been a more beautiful day!
We conducted their couple formals before the wedding at Tlaquepaque and Schnebly Hill. The ceremony was lovely and Tony's display of emotion as he gave his vows were unbelievably touching.
Amanda and Tony, thank you so much for having us as your wedding photographers ... it was such a pleasure working with you both!! Hope you enjoy the images - you are such a beautiful couple!!
I love the look on Amanda's face at their first meeting :-).

What beautiful images! I was so bummed I couldn't make this shoot and now I'm really, really sad! It looked like a lot of fun! Great job guys!
(02.20.09 @ 04:18 PM)On October 25th, we photographed the wedding of Tishya and Greg. Their wedding took place on the Patio de las Campanas at Tlaquepaque in Sedona. Tlaquepaque is a beautiful and charming venue - though not without its challenges!
Within the realm of photography, weddings don't get much more challenging than this one. The actual ceremony and reception both took place outdoors after dark. Lighting was extremely dim and with no ceilings around to bounce light off of, we quickly had to come up with other lighting solutions. We are not big fans of direct flash (it is too harsh) so instead we set up what amounted to a simulated studio situation using off-camera flashes. It worked out quite well and we carried this over to much of the reception. We also had to do the majority of their couple formals in the dark. In light of that fact, the couple also did a "Day-After" shoot the following Monday, which we will be posting images from shortly.

I just love this. Congratulations to a beautiful couple and great photographers!! And I got a new word - tumbleweed ;) That is Arizona to me, never forget the first time I saw those things tumbling around in the wind. Rainy greetings from Sweden
