Elayne prayed for a winter wedding complete with snow and that is exactly what she got! She and Craig reside in Phoenix and planned their January 2010 wedding in Flagstaff in the hopes that it would be snowing on the day of ... or at least there would be a little snow on the ground. Elayne even bought the cutest pair of winter-white boots in anticipation of the snow. They didn't get a snowy day but they did get ample snow on the ground as Flagstaff had recently been heavily dumped on :-). They held their wedding and reception at the Radisson and were quite willing to go off property to get some beautiful shots in the snow ... thanks for trusting us on that one :-). Thank you both so much and we hope you enjoy the sneak peak!
Side note: We would like to thank our new assistant, Angela Beebe for her fantastic work at this wedding. She will be working with us at many of our upcoming weddings and shoots and we are really excited to be working with her! Welcome aboard :-)!

I first met Megan a little over a year ago. One of her good friends, Paige, was one of our past brides and Paige and Megan decided to do a boudoir session for their men. Shortly after that, Megan got engaged and called to have us photograph the wedding. Megan and her fiance, Colton, love the mountains and wanted their engagement session to take place amongst the autumn aspens. Fall was a bit odd this year ... very sporadic color ... so we spent the day on a scavenger hunt of sorts looking for good patches of color. We had a great time and I just love these two! I can't wait for their wedding this March!!

I need to study your black and whites...they are always so stunning! And I love the sunset picture, just gorgeous!
(02.16.10 @ 02:55 AM)The day before we left for our big trip (postings coming up - think buffaloes - lots of them) we headed out to photograph Ashley's senior portraits. She loves nature and she especially loves cows - a girl after my own heart :-) - and Flagstaff has plenty of both!! We had a great time in the sunflower fields and on the road to Hart Prarie, which is prime cow territory by the way. Thanks so much Ashley! You did a great job and looked beautiful doing it :-)!

Hellooooo ... we are back :-)!!! No we didn't die, we have just been gone for several weeks for both vacation and work and there will be plenty of upcoming postings to show where we have been and what we have been up to. But first we have a couple of postings that we need to post from before we left.
Kelly and Evan are getting married in Flagstaff next May. Neither of them live in state, but they made a trip out this way to get some wedding planning out of the way. They figured that it would be the perfect time to schedule their engagement session, and they couldn't have been more right. A few weeks ago Flagstaff's famous fields of sunflowers were in their full glory and we definitely took advantage. They also wanted some shots around Sedona, so we took them to Merry-Go-Round Rock on Schnebly Hill for sunset - which was quite spectacular by the way! We had a great time guys!!

Kelsey and Thor were married August 9th at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff. We loved everything about this wedding - the couple (they were stunning), the venue, the peacock feather and star theme, the weather (beautiful and cool) - just everything!
Lowell Observatory is one of Flagstaff's big claims to history. Our 9th planet, Pluto, was discovered here in 1930 and though it's classification has since been downgraded to that of "dwarf planet" it still holds a special place in our solar system, in our hearts, and at Lowell Observatory. A beautiful sculptural exibit of all the planet's (including Pluto) is on display right now and it made for some great props in photos!
Kelsey and Thor, you were both so wonderful and gracious, as were your family and friends, and we so much enjoyed being a part of your big day. It was truly a pleasure and we hope you love your photos as much as we do! Now for the TTD session :-).

Great imagery. Very unique setting and you captured the wedding day hustle and bustle perfectly. Love the image of the bride putting on her dress, while the helper is on the phone.

I love it! My photo fits so well within those other two pictures! I have to say though, my favorite is the one of them kissing with the sun bursting in between them. Also, the one of them in the snow, that you said you LOVE LOVE LOVE! I agree!!
