Michelle and Leo were married on a very, very rainy and unseasonably cold April day this year in Phoenix, but it was beautiful none-the-less. Their ceremony was held at the Nishkam Seva Gurdwara Sahib and consisted of both Sikh and Cherokee traditions - I just love fusion weddings! Michelle looked absolutely stunning and her henna was out of this world! Thank you both so much for having me as your wedding photographer and enjoy the sneak peak!

Aleah and John were married in an intimate ceremony on April 8th, 2011 in front of close friends and family. They held their ceremony at Venue at the Grove in Phoenix and had a luncheon after at Amano Bistro. We just love these two and were so glad to be a part of their beautiful day! Enjoy the sneak peak :-)!

Love it! :)

Jessica and Jim were married April 2nd, 2011 at Venue at the Grove in Phoenix. These two are so genuine as is their love for one another and the day couldn't have been better! Jessica actually asked me if I thought the wedding went well compared to all the other weddings I have photographed ... are you kidding??? Just look at the photos ... I think they speak for themselves!
It was a beautiful wedding and her friends made for fun subjects to photograph during the reception - let's just say, they had a LOT of fun :-)!! Jessica and Jim, thank you both so much for including us in your wedding day and trusting us with your wedding photography. You were both amazing to work with! Thank you too for the glowing review you left us on Wedding Wire! We always appreciate our clients taking out of their busy schedules, without even being asked, to write a testimonial for us ... didn't I say they were genuine people :-)!
I want to extend a giant thank you to our Associate Photographer, Angie, for her amazing talents as the second photographer at this event :-)! Mindy Shock did an amazing job putting this event together!!

These are the most amazing pictures even though you had the most beautiful couple to work with. It was a gorgeous evening and your photography certainly captured it.

Victoria and Sean were married on March 26th, 2011 at the Farm at South Mountain in Phoenix. After shooting weddings in Arizona for six years now, we only just had our first wedding at this venue the weekend prior to this one, then we had another wedding there the next weekend ... always feels strange when we do the same venue back-to-back :-). I love this venue! It has so many possibilities and the light plays gorgeously through the orchard grove!
This couple is so amazing and sweet and we had so much fun working with them! They also have the most adorable baby boy, Owen :-). The whole event was magical but the reception brought the bigest news of the day when Sean announced, to a shocked audience, that he and Victoria are expecting their second child ... what a great moment full of happiness and tears! Congratulations to you both!
A side note on this wedding: before the ceremony we were doing portraits and we heard a dog get hit by a car on the busy road in front of us. We had actually seen this dog when we first arrived and thought she belonged to the Farm. Turned out, she was a stray. Luck would have it that she wasn't hurt too badly, just clipped, but she still had a bit of a limp. She was extremely sweet, but with no road sense, we knew she would probably not be so lucky the next time. An employee at the farm asked if we wanted her to call animal control ... we emphatically said no! She is not a puppy and we feared she would be put down. With that, Victoria's bridesmaids found a secure door to put her behind for the rest of the event. At the end, Kevin and I loaded her into the car and took her home ... she is now the newest member of our family :-). Her name is Bump and she will be highlighted in the next posting!

Love the shot with the champaigne glass & the tree...beautiful wedding. The weather looked wonderful.
(04.15.11 @ 06:29 PM)Absolutely beautiful! Victoria you are stunning! Sean, Dan said the photographers made you look so good, he wonders if they will follow him around for awhile?

Karima and Terry were married March 20th, 2011 at the Farm at South Mountain in Phoenix. I LOVED everything about this wedding ... the bride and groom, the colors, the venue, the personalities of everyone there ... it all made for wonderful photos :-)! Karima and Terry were referrals and they were such a blast to work with. We also need to make mention of one of Karima's bridesmaids. She is a professional wedding photographer herself and we can't thank her enough for being so wonderful to us! We have had instances like this in the past, many of which have not been very pleasant experiences for us. We are usually either treated very poorly or the person tries to step in and handle all the posing, etc. themselves. Karima's friend did none of that. She helped us when we asked and otherwise extended us the professional courtesy of standing back, thereby allowing us to do our jobs freely and creatively. To her we say a big THANK YOU!!!! We also want to thank our Associate Photographer, Angie, for helping out on this one!
Karima and Terry, thank you both so much for having us as your wedding photographers. We had such an amazing time and we love the photos we shot at your wedding! Hope you enjoy the sneak peak!
