The day after Theresa and Chris' wedding, we headed into Napa Valley for their trash the dress shoot to take advantage of the beautiful vineyards and stately oak trees. We got some beautiful images and had a great time producing them ... gotta love it when the bride and groom aren't afraid to climb trees :-)! Thank you both again for having us as your wedding photographers and for the wonderful experience!

Brooke and Ryan had their wedding in late April at Arcosanti in Arizona. In early June, once they had fully recovered from sunburns they got on their honeymoon to Cancun (I know how you feel :-)), we photographed their trash the dress shoot. They decided to hold their session at Lake Pleasant - a place they love - along with their boat - another thing they love :-). We had a great day playing and capturing some unique images on a hot Arizona summer day at the lake! Thanks for the fun you two!!

After all the hectic activities over the past two days, which left little time to do many posed photographs, we all headed out to relax, take a swim and do a trash the dress shoot! We headed south of Playa del Carmen to the Yucatan's famed cenotes to take a refreshing dip (truth be told, the water was a tad chilly) and take some underwater shots in it's crystal clear waters. I had been really excited about visiting the cenotes and they did not disappoint ... they were absolutely stunning! From there we headed to the beach to finish up the session. It was a lovely way to spend more time getting to know Neha and Tunde and to wrap up a spectacular destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico! Thank you both so much for the experience ... it was true privilege!!!

Being that I wanted to comment on EVERY SINGLE PICTURE, I figured it made the most sense to wait until the very end of the postings. :) Ummm... WOW! Tina, We are amazing! lol. I had the most INCREDIBLE time...incredible being a complete and total understatement!!! Not only was this a beautiful wedding in every way a wedding can be beautiful--Beautiful people, Beautiful decorations, Beautiful customs--It was THE MOST humbling experience of LOVE I have ever encountered. With so much negativity and hate in the world, your families were brought together as one by nothing more than, as your mother gorgeously stated, "Just love." No hindrances of race or religion were in sight, and that is so beautiful. Thus, making it so much more than just a wedding for me, but a life experience I could have never received any where else, at any other time in my life. I was where I was supposed to be (by default, thanks to Kevin -sorry Kevin, but you are appreciated :)).
I want to thank Neha, Tunde, and ALL of their beautiful family members, for giving Tina and I the opportunity to photograph this truly one-of-a-kind wedding! Neha & Tunde, You are an inspiration of love and I feel so blessed to have met you. To Kevin, thank you for having prior arrangements that allowed me to take your place in Cancun (hahaha-you were missed). And to Tina (and Kevin), thank you for trusting my "eye" and for giving me the guidance, strength and support to continue to grow. I am still utterly grateful to be a part of the Sierra Blanco team/family and LOVE YOU BOTH to pieces! Here's to Neha, Tunde, their wedding, their pictures :), and to the future. SALUD!!
Tina and Kevin - these images are breathtaking. I have never seen anything like this and am in awe! I am so honored to have had you photograph our wedding and hope to have a trash the dress session one day too! -Jessica (White) Taylor

Kendra and Kyle did their Trash the Dress Session in Sedona and it was by far, the dirtiest, muddiest Trash the Dress Session we have had to date, and we loved it!! We started out at Garland's Oak Creek Lodge (which we could have spent the whole day at) and then continued to the West Fork of Oak Creek before ending at Red Rock Crossing - where things got dirty :-). The first photo is a photo taken with our new underwater camera housing. We are very excited about the possibilities we can produce with this new piece of equipment! We want to extend a special thank you to Kendra and Kyle for trusting us in whatever was asked of them ... what an amazing shoot!! Kendra did take the dress to the cleaner (she said we should have seen the looks on their faces.) We will let you know the outcome :-)!
A side note here: It is sometimes funny how our clients find us and this day had to be one of the strangest. While shooting at Red Rock Crossing (while we had Kendra in the water) a couple visiting the park from Hollywood (near Miami), Florida, named Maya and Spencer, happened by and were really curious as to what we were doing. We explained the concept of a Trash the Dress Session to them and they were amazed. So much so, they said there 10 year anniversary was coming up next summer, 2012, and Maya was so inspired she decided she would "trash" her dress in celebration. They were curious to see what the results would look like so they took our information to see photos. We wished them good luck and told them they would love the experience, certainly never expecting to hear from them again. A few days later, to our happy surprise, Maya contacted us and asked if we would fly to Miami to do the shoot. The rest is history and we will be boarding a plane next July for sunny Florida to photograph Maya and Spencer's 10 Year Anniversary Trash the Dress Session. Can't wait!!!
On to Kendra and Kyle's shoot ... enjoy the sneak peak guys!

Ha ha...I love it!! :) Love shot "D21"...with her dress reflectin' in the water...so beautiful. Love it!!! :)

Fast forward three months - and into a new year - and we are back with Gina and Matt for their trash the dress shoot. They had been planning on doing this shoot all along and Gina was REALLY looking forward to it ... she was ready to jump into the freezing cold water at her wedding in November (true story ... she makes me laugh :-).)
They really wanted to do their trash the dress shoot in snow (I love snow shoots ... my absolute favorites,) but that is always tricky, especially when you only have one day each week you can schedule the shoot. We had originally planned the shoot in January, but there was no sign of a fresh snow storm, so we suggested waiting a bit. We tentatively re-scheduled the shoot for this past Sunday and could hardly believe our good fortune when we heard a big snow storm was rolling into the high country. This was the same storm that brought stunning rainbows to our wedding the previous day - man, what a spectacular weekend to shoot :-)!! Snow levels dropped significantly and we took advantage of grabbing some rare snow shots in lower Sedona before heading up into the canyon to the West Fork of Oak Creek where it looked like a perfect winter wonderland.
Thank you both so much for enduring the cold and helping to create these magical shots!!

This day was sooo spectacular! Being that I haven't been in snow much before this, and also that Gina & matt were phenomenal in front of the camera (not to mention one of the cutest & most genuinely loving couples EVER!)...This has to be my favorite shoot to date! :) LOVE THE POSTING!
